They've long since left behind the label of being a cute or twee band since their debut album 15 years ago. City Rock Dove is instead an album of transition, ennui and nihilism; honing in on personal politics and gender queerness. The album opens with the coming-out anthem Three States, Danas very personal tale of change. His vocals for the song were recorded over 2 years during the course of his gender transition. Gender and sexuality are behind Cats for Cats, taking a gay dating app cliche (masc. For masc.) as the opening refrain, and contemplating being 40, in a long term relationship and how freedom of experimentation always comes with it's own costs. Infinity Pools is a homage to Spanish tontipop, and also inspired by Maxs longstanding love of tropicalia. Missy takes the lead on album closer Prince of Sweden, a love letter to Scandinavia. I love Cole Porters song You're the Top because it's a rolling list of things that are the best-of-the-best and being the Prince of Sweden seemed like it could be one of those at least as good as being compared to cellophane. No political innuendo intended. Max Andrucki, Missy Bly, Colin Clary, Dana Kaplan, Holly Chagnon, and David Zacharis switch up instruments, song-writing, and singing to create catchy, harmony-driven pop anthems and love songs always brilliantly lyrical, and often brazenly political. They're based in Burlington, Vermont and in New York City. This is amazing book. So far it's the best finance book I've ever read. I would give it 5 stars but the delivery services was bad for 2 reasons: the book had not protection and the worker did not notify me when leaving the product at home.

Only for real men...
Style: Rough Exfoliation
So much crying here. This is not a luxurious sponge. But if your are a man, this is the hot ticket. Coarse but not like a cheese grater. Holds liquid soap well. Foams well. The elastic strap let's you keep hold of it easily and will reverse over the pad so you can use either side. Leaves your skin pink and fresh... in a manly sort of way. 😉

SELF TANNERS MUST HAVE!!
Style: Rough Exfoliation
This product is perfect for those of us who use self tanners!! For self tanners to work well and not look splotchy one needs well exfoliated skin and this sponge is exactly the right tool for the task! My skin feels so much softer, my self tanner working much better and my body lotion seems to absorb more quickly. These sponges are easy to hold and have a loop to hang from while they dry.
Every week when I wash my towels I toss the sponge(s) into a lingerie bag and wash with the towels. I always hang to dry so no idea how they’d handle a dryer.
I will never be without these sponges!

If you like it rough (enough)...
Style: Rough Exfoliation
Perhaps a tad rough for some, the Caveem scrubbers are ideal for me- rough, but not cheese-grater-aggressive. I have been using the first of my two pack for almost three months and, beyond a slight "softening" of the surface, it is in perfect shape- no deformation, no open seams, no tears, thin spots, or defects of any kind. It looks and works like near-new. The sponge is a great size for man hands- basically 6" x 4", and is thick enough to hold ample soap and water to cover quite a bit of skin without reloading. The strap is comfortable and sturdy and, perhaps trivial, but the colors are manly without branding with skulls or wrenches or some other compensatory masculine iconography!
I am very satisfied and if they ever wear out, I will happily purchase again.
