Marilyn Monroe was an enigma. Famous, beautiful, sexy, talented, and (surprisingly) intelligent, she also exemplified unexpected characteristics of sadness, loneliness, and vulnerability that made her all the more human. Edited by romance and mystery novelist Douglas, this collection of 21 short stories by authors such as Eileen Dreyer and Nancy Pickard explores her life in imaginative ways. Each author did careful research then intertwined fact with fiction to create an engaging story. The Kennedy brothers appear in several of the tales, as well as the specter of a son given up for adoption in her youth. Whether Marilyn is saving the life of Nikita Khrushchev, witnessing the hereafter prior to her death, or being taken hostage in an unlikely heist, the legendary star comes across as a sympathetic and tragic character. Interestingly, the stories have a consistent feel in that they portray Marilyn as a waif in search of love and affection who ends up alone and unfulfilled at the hour of her death. Each story is followed by an analysis of the author's response to Marilyn, particularly her untimely death.

Powerful frother with a long rechargeable battery life

After purchasing three of the battery operated frothers. I finally found this amazing frother. It is very powerful so you do have to be careful not to slosh liquid out of your cup when you’re using it. But I have found it helps if you rotate the frother in a stirring motion while you are using it. That really helps keep the liquid from overflowing out of the cup. It has a sleek design and is rechargeable and the charge less about two weeks.I love this one so much. I take it with me when I travel. I actually left my original one at my mother’s house the last time I visited her and have ordered another one for my house. Highly recommend.

Great Power and Creamy Foam

This frother is amazing and has really good power. It creates creamy, smooth foam in seconds and works perfectly for iced lattes, cappuccinos, and matcha. I love that it’s rechargeable and lightweight, but still feels strong and high quality.
As someone who loves coffee, this has become one of my favorite tools for making café-style drinks at home. Easy to use, easy to clean, and looks beautiful on my coffee station.

Powerful easy to operate but splashes

Excellent frother--Very powerful and easy to turn on/off with one button. The only downside is it requires a deep container in which to froth. The frothing pitcher I had was too small and milk splashes everywhere. There is no lower speed so it works fast. I am using a deep insulated container now for frothing. Otherwise, very quite, easy to operate no pushing down on the top like other frother wands. I love it as long as I can control it to limit the splashing.

Frother I had for a couple of years broke. Based on reviews I bought this. Love it being rechargable. The POWER! It froths milk in seconds. Also great for that after workout protein drink. Also is a little longer than my last frother so it works great with larger glasses.

And I love the stand and the best thing about it is no more batteries to change now we just charge it up.
