Our damascus steel is hand forged with combinations of 1080, 1095 High Carbon Steel, and 4340 HT forming over 288+ layers. We oil quench and temper to a hardness of 57-58 Rockwell C. Some of the many Damascus steel advantages include the following: Blade edge resistance from the harder steel, micro serrations from the alternating layers, ductility from the 4340 HT.

Maintenance Recommendations:
- Keep in a dry environment and out of the sheath for a long period of time to prevent rust.
- Oil or use Flitz polish to prevent the blade from rusting
- To sharpen use 15 - 22 deg fix angles systems with whetstones re-achieve edge geometry to OEM specs

Warranty:
We provide a lifetime warranty on our forged damascus of any manufacturing defects. We do our best to design blades that will last for generations and use the finest materials. In this warranty the accessories are not covered which may include: chipping of handle scales, sheath cutting, or strap loosening overtime.

LL Bean slippers
Larger than it looks, but still small enough to fit into my LL Bean Wicked Good Slippers. Let's me comb out the shearling to keep it soft and pretty.

Good.
Works perfect to brush sheepskin. However it's a bit difficult to remove the fluff without hurting your fingers.

Inadequate
Have had the brush for 2 weeks. Brushed 7 pieces of my macrame project. Half the brush have sunken behind the rubber part of the brush, unusable. I used pliers to pull out some of the wire brush part. Not sure it will be sufficient to do the jobs I purchased it for.
