The colors are an overall medium brown with bands of darker-brown grain. Air-dried Black Walnut is so much prettier than kiln-dried, and these pieces have nice color depth. This block has been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. This piece has been planed on four sides (S4S). A few of these have minor cracks (either an end-grain check or small open cracks in a knot) that you can fill with CA glue if needed. We carry multiples of this size block, so the one you receive may not be the one in the photos but it will be of similar character and quality. |

This cream is truly gentle and healing for a compromised skin barrier. I prefer this cream in the winter, when the weather is dry, and after procedures like microneedling or laser. It has never irritated my skin, and does soothe and heal. The La Roche Posay cicalfate cream is also excellent, I think it is slightly less rich, so I prefer that in humidity or the summer.

Overpriced but it works.

I hate that I love this product. It's stupid expensive. But it's great for broken/damaged/recovering skin. I've used it post microneedling and it is the only thing that soothes, hydrates, and doesn't sting raw, red skin. Great for rashes/hives and allergic reactions too. Luckily a thin layer is often enough to do the trick. so it lasts a long time I wouldn't use for everyday moisture, but when your skin is angry, this stuff works. (Overpriced? Yes. Witchcraft? Maybe. Does it work? Yep.)

Extremely effective product
Such a great product. Really works well on chapped, dry hands during winter or to maintain healthy skin in other conditions. There really isn't a scent, it smells kind of plastic-y but that's fine with me when the results are so good. Hard to find in my area, so happy Amazon carries this brand.
