MLS gaskets are ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks. They can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials. MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. Solids are great
I bought these so I could keep moisturizer on my heels yet keep my toes cool. I love the solid colors but there is absolutely no stretch on the pretty flowered ones. I guess it’s the way they are woven. They are really hard to stretch over the heel. The solid colors are soft and super comfy.

These run small!
I had ordered these before in black and grey and they were great, fit perfect. But these run small. I had noticed another reviewer said the same but thought I'd risk since they were cute. I'm not sure what color has to do with it, but tight at ankle and at 'toe'-less part. They are now in my donate bin. Waste of money, will not purchase this brand again. Great idea, inconsistent quality.

Solid colors fit, patterned ones too small
As others have said, the blue socks with flower pattern were much smaller than the solid blue pairs- so small I couldn’t even get it on my foot (shoe size 8). The solid blue pairs I like and still wear, but it’s a bummer to only have 2 out of 3 fit when they cost this much.
