The RC line of Boss Loop Station pedals are all incredibly interactive and dependable, but with the RC-600, Boss takes out all the stops for a definitively advanced looping experience.
The RC-600 starts out with six stereo phrase tracks in premium 32-bit sound. Each of the six tracks can be independently controlled to record, play, and stop at the tap of a footswitch. The nine footswitches that control the RC-600 are freely programmable to fit any looping situation. The input and output capabilities of the RC-600 are staggering with four instrument ins for mono and stereo, two main outs for mono and stereo, two XLR mic ins, and four stereo sub-main outs. This wealth of connections allows for many different variations of inputs, including guitars, synthesizers, microphones, and more, all part of one simultaneous looping experience. Additional MIDI in and out connection and two expression control outs make the interactivity of the six loop tracks even more rich and vivid.
Once hooked up and the looping has begun, Boss takes special care to make sure the user experience of the RC-600 is not only deep but intuitive. Musically, the RC-600 comes equipped with over two hundred onboard rhythm tracks and sixteen drum kits to match up percussion with any composition. Forty-nine input effects and fifty-three track effects types can be worked into loops without the need for any additional effect devices. On top of that, onboard modulation and delay effects can be synced to match the tempo of your loops. Practically, the RC-600 retains classic Boss intuitive design, with an easy to manage LCD screen and circular loop monitor light to keep an eye on the RC-600's current status.
