The starter power supply provides a safe and efficient power supply to the Lucide Premium LINIAL Smart Track system. This element is the starting point of almost every installation. However, in the case of a ceiling mount with a surface mounted driver, a junction box with terminal block is chosen. One of the two is indispensable for a correct power supply of the Linial Track system. Discover the Premium LINIAL Smart: more than just track lighting. Thanks to the Smart Zigbee protocol 802.15.4, the system integrates effortlessly with the most widely used smart home platforms (Tuya Smart, Hue, Woox, Smartlife). The modular track system is suitable for ceiling-mounting, pendant-mounting, and wall-mounting, and offers a wide selection of spotlights, pendants, and accessories. Combined with the 48V Track low-voltage system and magnetic mounting, it creates a safe, flexible and future-proof lighting solution, ideal for residential, retail and hospitality environments. Each fixture can be controlled individually via the app and can be easily grouped into personalized light scenes. Dimmable via the app (not compatible with a standard wall dimmer).

Ruthie Gilmore's examination of California's prison-industrial complex paints a sobering portrait of the effects of the state's post-industrial decline in the past quarter century. Supplemented by numerous charts, maps, and statistics, Gilmore argues that the massive prison-building project that began in the early 1980s was rooted in earlier developments, namely the failure of the "welfare-warfare state" to absorb the numerous surpluses created by political and economic restructuring. Combining theory and historical-sociological analysis, this highly readable book is at once depressing and optimistic; it lays out the facts and guidelines for pursuing meaningful, antiracist struggles against the systemic dehumanization of immigrants, low-wage workers, and youths of color that continues to characterize U.S. political culture.

In a day and time when gentleness and positive imagination is needed for children, I was moved by this book in the best possible way.
