Our name comes from an ancient style of cooking that began over 3,000 years ago. The name “Kamado” is the Japanese word for “stove” and literally, it means “place for the cauldron”. It’s a simple yet highly efficient and flexible method of cooking any food – perfectly.
The London Sunshine Kamado BBQ brings together these age-old cooking techniques and blends them with today's technology. The amazing heat retention properties of ceramics allow the temperature to raise up to 399 Celsius allowing it to be used for smoking, grilling, baking, and broiling!
- Unique egg shape ensures good heat circulation inside the grill so that the food can be evenly cooked, and the ceramic retains the moisture of the food.
- Ceramic wall makes it possible to have a large heat storage capacity, which allows the heat flow to circulate inside. The thermometer in the ceramic wall allows you to see the temperatures when you’re cooking.
