They are bookmatched, such that the pieces of wood are mirror images of each other. These are a full 10" long, so you can craft an extra-long handle or can cut in half to make two standard-length knife scale sets. The wood has been air-dried to under 10% moisture content. Thanks to the air-drying process, they have retained their full color depth and contrast. The wet photo shows you a preview of the finished knife handle. Some of our knife blanks will have surface blemishes from the sawblade; this will sand off easily. We carry multiples of this size, so you may not receive the same set as photograhed. It will be the equivalent in quality and dimension. |
