Huisache Bowl Blank H810 5" x 10" x 11" 9.7 lbs. This is a beautiful half-log bowl blank cut from a crotch of Huisache. The colors are the warm reddish brown of huisache heartwood with beige sapwood and dark brown bark. The bark on the backside is incomplete but is well-attached where present within the crotch. The circle drawn on the front face measures 9.7". This is a fully air-dried bowl blank, with moisture content measuring under 10%. There are some radial drying cracks visible on the end-grain faces, as shown in the photos. They are mostly in the sapwood. We have treated some of these for you with thin, clear CA glue. You may wish to continue this on any untreated cracks. The crotch is deep on this one and filled with bark, which will take some care in turning. We recommend it for the more-experienced turner. If you wish to preserve the bark, please secure it with CA glue. |

Works for foot psoraisis

Got these for work (service industry) to reduce issues with psoriasis and blisters while putting on 20k+ steps a day. Over time the wounds healed and I could work without so much pain. I now don't use them all the time like I used to, only when a new lesion or blister appears, too prevent a breakout. Tip: if you're not in full breakout, wear thick socks under these as a barrier to friction.

Work well but run small

They do seem to run a bit small. I bought them for my bf but snagged them from him because I couldn’t resist! I’m about a W8/12 and they were just a little big but unlike others, I just put them on while sleeping and didn’t walk around with them. If you’re just planning on that, they did a great job at sloughing and moisturizing 😎

Good socks they work.

I normally wear size 13&half to 14 men's, and these fit me ok. They sit just below the ankle. They can get a little tight for me so you should look out for that if you are on the thicker side. But they work as advertised and help moisturize your feet. I recommend wearing them if you're going to just be hanging around home for a bit in one spot as they can be a little slippery to walk in if you go fast. Would not recommend going up and down stairs.
