These springs are lighter and have increased travel due to the larger distance between the coils. Made in the USA, these 2" I.D. high travel springs are manufactured from specially designed high-tensile, chrome silicon alloy spring wire, which allows them to have fewer coils and a smaller wire diameter. These lighter springs optimize performance by reducing unsprung weight and reacting faster. This high-grade material, along with careful heat-treating and post-processing, gives the spring a much longer life, and the coil design allows the springs to be compressed to coil-bind without affecting spring rate or free height. These new high travel springs are silver powder coated and ground at both ends for straight, consistent and accurate operations. In addition, all QA1 springs are lifetime guaranteed to remain within 2% of the original free height and rate under normal operating conditions. Chrome Silicon Steel, All QA1 springs are manufactured using the highest quality materials for high strength, consistency and long life. Cold Wound - Heat Treated - Shot Peened, All QA1 springs go through intensive manufacturing processes to ensure consistency, accuracy and durability. I like that this sunscreen stick is compact, easy to toss in a bag, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. It glides on smoothly and feels less greasy than some mineral sunscreens I’ve tried. The SPF 50 protection also makes it convenient for quick touch-ups throughout the day, especially on the face and ears. The biggest downside for me is the noticeable white cast. While it’s easy to apply and feels gentle on sensitive skin, the white cast is very noticeable and hard to blend out. It left my face looking pale and chalky for hours, which made me self-conscious wearing it in public. I understand mineral sunscreens can leave some residue, but this one was much more visible than expected. It may work better for very fair skin tones or outdoor activities where appearance matters less, but I wouldn’t repurchase it for everyday use.

Since I put it on thick it prevents the biting insects from getting to my skin. I only use on my face because I cover everything else with protective clothing. Rather have a white cast than permanent sun damage. It doesn't burn my skin like many other brands I've tried.
