No, your eyes do not deceive you. Squier's beloved Paranormal series returns with a new suite of inventive, otherworldly instruments that boast tones unattainable with any other "traditional" guitar. For unique musical expression, look no further than the Paranormal Stratocaster Deluxe, a vintage-styled silhouette with some irregular appointments that culminate in a singular, bona fide tone-stick.

This Paranormal story begins with a Vintage White gloss finished Nyatoh body, sporting a three-ply mint green pickguard atop the iconic double-cutaway Stratocaster silhouette. Connected to the body is a maple neck in the "C" shape profile with a satin finish, resulting in a smooth and quick neck that welcomes riffage across the entire 25.5" scale length. Topping the neck is an Indian laurel fingerboard, adorned with dot inlays and 22 Narrow Tall sized frets. For additional throwback aesthetics, Squier appoints the large '70s-style Stratocaster headstock for a bold, historic look.

Even down to the hardware, Squier retains their inventive thesis in this Paranormal Stratocaster Deluxe. First, a vintage-style tremolo bridge allows for expressive pitch modulation that is smooth, and provides the classic cornerstone sound that has emanated from Squier and Fender instruments for decades. A small touch, but one that doesn't go unnoticed, are the amp style volume and tone knobs, evoking the "partscaster" look right out of the box. Finally, Squier utilizes vintage style tuning machines for reliable pitches and easy maintenance.

For the most striking features in the Paranormal Stratocaster Deluxe, look no further than the pickup configuration—a Fender-designed alnico single-coil Tele reminiscent pickup in the neck position, and a Fender-designed alnico humbucking pickup in the bridge. Never before attainable in a Stratocaster, this suite of electronics allows players to achieve vintage twang and aggressive power simultaneously. Bright and articulate, warm and full-bodied—the Stratocaster Deluxe delivers it all. Additionally, the tone control features a push/pull mechanism that turns the humbucker pickup into a single-coil, allowing for on the fly dynamic shifts from thick and powerful to smooth and sweet. Dial in the tone with volume and tone controls, and 3-position pickup blade for a plethora of all-genre applicable sounds.
