The E4ODs and 4R100s - used in full-sized Ford trucks and vans since 1989 - have soft, car-like shift characteristics. Many truck owners prefer firmer shifts, especially when hauling large loads. Perfect for your Alpha
This kit had every single piece needed for my Alpha water pump - and many I didn't need. I guess it fits basically all the different versions out there. I remember when the single kits cost more and had much less. This is a good high-quality alternative. Stock up on them now - you'll need one eventually.
