The band was formed in 2005, in South Amherst, Ohio, by brothers Vic Stown (guitars) and Jesse Stown (drums), and guitarist Wayne Holocaust (all ex-Violent Night members). The three were joined by their long-time friend and Black Trinity singer Marshall Law. Together these four thrashers formed the original Vindicator lineup.

This is the incarnation of the band that recorded the original Rehearsal Demo, Wayne left the band shortly after this demo. The remaining three members then recorded the South Amherst Demo. Thrash and Demo-lished is a collection of all tracks from Vindicator's early demos and is completely remastered by Rob Colwell of Bombworks Sound. The vinyl is strictly limited to 100 copies worldwide and 300 CDs.
