These are manufactured to replicate the original wooden single screw handles that Weber discontinued in the 1990’s.

Note - Some Weber items manufactured after 2013 (mostly kettles and Smokey Joes in NZ), added a heat shield to their lid handles. This is also known as a ‘taco handle’.
This handle type does not have the two tabs that stick out like the side handles, and can cause the handle to spin. Check your grill to see if the handle bracket resembles the ‘taco handle’ as some modification maybe required to prevent this.
