This movement, known in Persian as "Zan, Zendegi, Azadi," seeks to challenge systemic oppression and advocate for the rights of women to live freely and independently. Historical Context: The Women's Life Freedom Movement has deep roots in Iran's history. Iranian women have long fought for their rights, from the Constitutional Revolution in the early 20th century to the protests against mandatory hijab laws in the 1970s and the Green Movement of 2009. In recent years, this movement has gained momentum through social media and global solidarity, bringing greater visibility to the plight of Iranian women. Core Issues: Legal Discrimination: Iranian women face numerous legal challenges, including unequal rights in marriage, divorce, child custody, and inheritance. The movement seeks to reform these laws to ensure equal rights for women. Dress Code: The mandatory hijab law is a symbol of the state's control over women's bodies. Many women defy this law, risking arrest and persecution to assert their right to choose their attire. Violence and Harassment: The movement also addresses issues of domestic violence, sexual harassment, and honor killings, advocating for stronger protections and support for victims. Architectural Heritage of Iran: Iran's architecture is a testament to its rich cultural history and artistic achievements. The country's architectural heritage spans thousands of years, blending various influences from ancient Persia, Islamic traditions, and modern innovations. Key Features of Iranian Architecture: Persian Gardens: Known as "paradises on earth," Persian gardens feature geometric layouts, water features, and lush greenery. The UNESCO-listed Fin Garden and Eram Garden are prime examples. Domes and Minarets: Iranian mosques are renowned for their domes and minarets, adorned with intricate tilework and calligraphy. The Shah Mosque in Isfahan is a masterpiece of Safavid architecture. Caravanserais: These roadside inns provided shelter for travelers and traders along the Silk Road. The 17th-century Zein-o-din Caravanserai is a well-preserved example. Bridges and Palaces: The Si-o-se-pol and Khaju bridges in Isfahan showcase the elegance of Safavid engineering, while the Golestan Palace in Tehran reflects Qajar-era opulence. Bazaar Architecture: Traditional bazaars, such as the Grand Bazaar of Tehran, are vibrant marketplaces with arched ceilings, courtyards, and labyrinthine alleys, reflecting the commercial and social life of Iranian cities. Cultural Significance: Iranian architecture is not just about aesthetics; it embodies the country's spiritual, social, and political values. Mosques and religious complexes serve as centers of worship and community gatherings. Palaces and gardens represent the splendor of royal patronage. Public spaces like bazaars and bridges facilitate commerce and connectivity. Connection to the Women's Movement: The Women's Life Freedom Movement and Iran's architectural heritage are intertwined through the cultural and social fabric of the country. Just as Iranian architecture reflects the nation's resilience and creativity, the women's movement embodies the spirit of perseverance and the quest for justice. Both are integral to Iran's identity and its ongoing journey toward a more equitable and inclusive society. A Staple in Skin Care Routine
Style: Milky Toner
This toner has become a staple in my skincare routine. I have sensitive skin and a lot of products tend to cause irritation or redness, but this one has been incredibly gentle from the start. My skin always feels soft, calm, and hydrated after using it.
The texture is lightweight with an almost soapy feel at first, but it absorbs quickly and never leaves my skin feeling greasy or heavy. It layers well with the rest of my skincare and works great both morning and night. I also appreciate that it gives results similar to more expensive brands without the high price tag. Definitely one of the better affordable skincare products I’ve tried.

My Favorite Product in the Milky Line
Style: Milky Toner, Style: Milky Toner
This toner has easily become my favorite product from Thayers brand and all other brands. I’m very picky about my skincare routine, especially when it comes to products I use daily, and this one has completely earned a permanent spot in my routine.
It feels incredibly gentle, hydrating, and soothing on the skin without feeling sticky or heavy. I love the ingredients, especially the snow mushroom and hyaluronic acid, because my skin always feels soft, balanced, and refreshed after using it. I’ve also noticed my pores looking smoother and overall healthier since incorporating this toner consistently.
The formula works beautifully with the rest of the Milky line, and my skin genuinely looks and feels better when I use it regularly. I’ll absolutely continue repurchasing this product.

Hydration + glow without irritation!
Style: Milky Toner
I’ve been using this milky toner for a couple months now and it has quickly become a staple in my routine. The texture is lightweight but creamy, which makes it feel more nourishing than a typical watery toner. It absorbs really well into my skin without leaving and sticky or greasy residue. I haven’t noticed that my skin feels softer and more hydrated after applying it AND it layers so nicely with serums and moisturizers. One thing I really appreciate is how gentle it is on my skin. It doesn’t cause any irritation, redness or breakouts! I actually feel like it helps calm my skin on days when It feels a little dry or “stressed”. Overall, I think it is a great option if you are looking for a hydrating, soothing toner that fits easily into either a simple or more detailed skincare routine. I will 100% be repurchasing when I run out of my current bottle

This will make your face soft and glowy!
Style: Milky Toner
This is GOOD STUFF! First cleanse face, then I tried using both a cotton ball and a cotton round, but in the end, I put a small amount right on my fingers and massage into my face. It seems pretty wet at first, so I let it air dry for a minute before adding my moisturizer. My face really seems smooth and even has a glow to it, which is unbelievable to me! My face also feels very soft and hydrated (and usually has some dry patches).

Practically perfect in every way
Style: Milky Toner
The results (in combination with other care products) have been amazing!
I’m a 37yo trans-woman, who in my late 20s looked like I was in my mid 30s.
My skin is much smoother than it used to be (to be fair, in addition to laser hair removal’s results), my tone is more uniform, and with more hydration is fewer wrinkled areas.
This is definitely a critical part of my skin care routine, which allows me to need hardly anything for my make-up routine.
Value/price is fair, and I have no issue paying that again.
