Tanaka Blue 2 Stainless Cladding Kurouchi Finish Gyuto 240mm with K&S Teak handleI got a LOT of emails and PMs about the possibility of carrying the Kurouchi version of the blue 2 Tanaka blades. I got a LOT of emails and PMs about the possibility of carrying the Kurouchi version of the blue 2 Tanaka blades. Reason is people find the damascus version being a little bit reactive in some cases. I have always resisted of bringing in that line because I just cannot tolerate myself selling the stock handle (plastic ferrule version), which has a huge "step" between the handle and the ferrule.

Well K&S is all about listening to our customers, and here is what I came up with!

The popular Tanaka Kurouchi Blue 2 blade, with K&S treatment and a custom K&S octagonal Teak handle: a complete Tanaka KU package, and still packed with value!

===============

Always thought that Tanaka blades are great value with poor F&F? Think again!

For a long time I tought the same, and this is the reason I was not able to fully commit on carrying all the other ranges of Tanaka knives other than the western R2 line. For a long time, I wish I could offer the great value and cutting performance of Tanaka knives with a much improved F&F, and I finally done it: I am proud to offer you the K&S Tanaka knives. Same maker, same great cutting performance, same unbeatable value, but a much better overall finished Tanaka.

Creative outlets!
Format: Paperback
I LOVE following the activities in this book. Perfect for anyone who wants to draw but thinks they can’t, great exercises and fun for those creative blocks when you want to be creative but just can’t get it flowing.

This! Book! Rocks!
Format: Paperback
If you enjoy laughing, having fun with your friends and family, and doing cool stuff, you will love Lynda Barry's Making Comics. This is a thoughtful and complete recap of her live class at the University of Wisconsin, includes much of her substantial thought and philosophy on the role of image making in human evolution, and is full of her (and her students') amazing artwork; but it's also full of excessively FUN drawing exercises that are wonderful for sucky drawers as well as professional artists. We dig this book so bad!!! Best gift I've given myself in a million years!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I had a little bit forgotten how much I! Love! Lynda! Barry!!!!! So if you wish you could go move to Wisconsin and take her class like I do, instead just save the planet the extra greenhouse gases and get this book instead and do the class at your kitchen table with your friends!!! Maybe also order it from your local groovy independent bookstore so you can stick it to the man!!!

This Book Will Make You Happy
Format: Paperback
This book is beautiful, inspiring and uplifting. I happen to be someone who never drew very but wants to draw again. It's perfect for me. However, even if I didn't have an interest in drawing, the art, stories and information are compelling and warm. I truly believe anyone will enjoy this book. I first learned of the amazing Lynda Barry when I was a kid reading Ernie Pook's Comeek. I have since read everything Lynda Barry has ever published - and every bit is a treasure. There is a kindness, wisdom, openness and compassion in everything she does. For me, her work is like a tonic and a salve. This book comes to me at the perfect time - the most painful and difficult year of my life. It is powerful and soothing. This is a work you will love and go back to again and again.
