I'm not sure what type of wood this is, but my guess is an oak perhaps a red water oak. They were mistakenly labeled as bald cypress. After seeing the grain and color, I think that it's unlikely to be cypress. These are nice clean, surfaced blanks. I see an ocassional fine drying check if you have a crack, just touch it up with CA
