Martin P5M Marlin airplane model, by the Glenn L. Martin Company of Middle River, Maryland, was the last flying boat in service with the United States Navy and the US armed forces in general. Built as a successor to the PBM Mariner, the new hull form and new conventional tail were fitted to a Mariner to become the XP5M Marlin prototype.

The Marlin was designed as a gull-winged aircraft to lift the engines and propellers high above the spray. Power was by two Wright R-3350 radial engines. The hull, somewhat inspired by the Japanese Kawanishi H8K of World War II, did not lift sharply from the water at the tail, instead rising up steadily, this gave the aircraft a longer base of flotation and reduced "porpoising" over waves.

The prototype had nose and tail turrets with twin 20 mm cannon in each, as well as a dorsal turret with two 0.5 in (12.7 mm) M2 machine guns. The cockpit area was the same as the Mariner's. It first flew in May 1948.

The first of 167 production P5M-1 aircraft was produced in 1949. Changes from the prototype included a raised flight deck for improved visibility, the replacement of the nose turret with a large radome for the AN/APS-44 search radar, the deletion of the dorsal turret, and new, streamlined wing floats. The engine nacelles were lengthened to provide room for weapons bays in the rear.

The P5M-1 was followed by 116 P5M-2 planes. These had a T-tail to put the tail surfaces out of the spray, a AN/ASQ-8 MAD boom at the rear of the tail-tip, no tail guns, better crew accommodation and an improved bow to reduce spray during takeoff and landing.

Mahogany Wood. Wingspan 20 inches, Length 15 inches.

Our Doodle's Fav Toy
Color: Multicolor
The first slothicorn toy that we received had a broken squeaker. We were able to quickly and easily get a replacement and send the broken one back. This is one of my pup's favorite toys, although I don't think the horn will last long-- it's the part she likes to chew on the most! At 5lbs, the toy is the same size as my Goldendoodle puppy. I think the toy is overpriced when not on sale (I got on Black Friday promo), so I would encourage waiting for a price drop before purchasing or locating another option that's affordable.

Not very durable if your dog likes to play aggressively with his toys.
Color: Shello There
My yorkie loves it. However he removed the rope tail tail on day one. Within a couple of days it came loose at the seem from chewing and he started pulling the stuffing out. I won't give back to him until I am able to mend it.

Great dog toys
Color: Orange & Blue
These Zeaxuie octopus dog toys are a huge hit with my pup! The crinkle and squeaky features immediately grabbed his attention, and he’s been happily chewing and playing with them ever since. I love that they’re stuffing-free, so I don’t have to worry about any mess. They’re the perfect size for small to medium breeds and seem very durable. These toys have kept my dog entertained for hours – definitely a great purchase!

Tough toys!
Color: Orange & Blue
We have 2 deogs, a large Aussie and a small terrior. The little guy is very hard on toys. Few last a full day. We have thrown away hundreds of $ worth of toys, We have had these for a few months, and he has not managed to destoy them yet. They get played with a lot because he has very few toys. I keep trying to find toys which will survive this dog. He hjas even destroyed Kong toys which are pretty tough, but has not destroyed these. I wrote this review as I cam back to order more toys from this company, because it is great to have some which can stand up to his abuse.
