Assembled with many of the same high-quality features as the PRS S2 Custom 24, this model pushes to the next echelon with an updated switching system and a heightened level of tonal versatility. Crafted in Maryland, the S2 Custom 24-08’s TCI pickups work with a three-way toggle switch and two mini-toggle coil tap switches. Tapping this PRS's TCI humbuckers swaps them into single-coil pickups, adding up to a possible eight pickup configurations. With enough directions to venture off and conquer any tonal landscape, this S2 Custom 24-08 ensures all the dynamic tonality PRS is known for.
This S2 Custom 24-08's refined and expansive tonal palette is only made more impressive when considering its physical construction. A maple top and mahogany back come together to make a form-fitting shape in hand. PRS’s Pattern Thin-shaped mahogany neck joins the body with a twenty-four fret rosewood fingerboard. PRS's instantly-recognizable "Birds" fret inlays line the fingerboard for that essential element of PRS cool.
PRS's patented tremolo bridge design works into this whole equation, pushing the experience further. Low-mass locking tuners adorn the classic PRS headstock, only adding to the guitar’s tonal stability. This guitar travels comfortably in an included PRS Premium gig bag to make it from one performance to the next.
