Bodark Bowl Blank B-738 7" x 7" x 4" 8.25 lbs. This is a very nice half-log bowl blank of Texas Bodark (Osage Orange). Suitable for a bowl of approximately 7 inches in diameter and 3 to 4 inches deep. It was cut out of a very large, old, and spalted Texas Bodark. It has been air-dried for years, reaching a stable moisture content of 10-12%. The present basic color is a reddish-streaked, golden yellow, typical of spalted Bodark heartwood. The golden yellow color will turn to a strong and absolutely beautiful golden brown with age and sunlight. The numerous patches and streaks of reddish spalt staining will deepen in color through time and provide some fascinating contrast in your finished bowl. The old bark was quite loose and has been stripped completely from the back side, but that black, knobby sub-bark surface is quite interesting and could look very interesting as the rim of a natural-edge bowl. The only flaws that I see are small drying checks on the back edge (below and into the sub-bark surface and on the end-grain area of opposite sides). You can scroll down through the photographs to get a closer look at these. If I were turning this blank, those checks would be reinforced with thin/medium CA glue and the blank mounted and turned as a Natural Edge bowl form ... most if not all of those checks should turn off. I see no other significant flaws. |

A little goes a long way
The first thing I noticed was the scent, which I would think others would also find appealing. When I used it, I was happy to find that a little product went a long way. Although this is a liquid soap, it felt like a bar soap on my skin. For me, it did a great job at cleaning and deodorizing my skin.

Great Detox Body Wash
Been using this once a week for about a month and it works great. Skin feels detoxed after and stripped of the nasty oils but not over stripped like a lot of products out there. My skin remained soft and smooth after and felt truly cleaner and fresher. Like I mentioned I only use it once a week personally but I don't see where it would be a problem to use it more frequently if you want to. Its another great product from an already outstanding company !

Tree Tea Body Wash
It does its job of decreasing ringworm and body flake skin itch. I need to give more time to make it work. Patience is the key. It has strong scents of Tea Tree Oil. After rinsing them off for a couple of minutes, it gives a clean rubbery feeling to it. Make sure you moisturize your skin after the shower bath.

Stick caused breakout on face and neck

Results after one use!
I know different products work differently for each person. However, I really noticed a difference in lightening of my facial freckles in one use!
I am a pale redhead with tons of sunspots and freckles. I was not taught to use spf as a child and have tons of spots on arms, chest, and face. As I get older, they have really started to bother me and age me.
I tried the orange version of this soap years ago and really didn’t see any change. I was reluctant to try this white version, but it was affordable, so I did.
I could not believe my face after one use! Overall complexion was lighter and my biggest sun spots diminished. I kept noticing results each day after using.
My arms - which are just covered with freckles - I didn’t see much lightening improvement but I think I will over time. They are just really severe cases. But I can see it working on my face, so certainly my arms will follow.
Also, I know this sounds weird - but my elbows became soft and silky! Without lotion! I was amazed! My elbows have never felt that good! Even with scrubs and body oils. I looked like a freak petting my elbows all day. It must be the exfoliating and moisturizing properties of this. Magic.
I am sad because I had to stop using them temporarily but no fault of the product. I’ve been having SEVERE hormonal, post-pill acne. I have been hesitant to put this on my face now because I’m afraid it may make it worse. But..seeing some of these reviews maybe it may help heal it. It’s horrible anyway..why not try to reintroduce it? Hmm.
Anyway, try it! What have you got to lose? I am very very very impressed with this white version!!!
