1970年代頃のNAPIERのリーフモチーフブローチ。
一枚の葉がデフォルメされ、洗練されたデザインで表現されています。
細やかなテクスチャーが施されたゴールドトーンメタルが大胆なひだを作り、センターには鏡面加工のメタルが美しい曲線を描きます。
エレガントなシルエット、葉が放つゴールドの光沢や深い陰影が、一目で視線を惹きつけられる存在感を放つ一品。
上質感があり、コーディネートをクラシカルな気品で飾ってくれるブローチです。
ブローチ裏側のメタルに若干くすみが見られますが、その他良好なヴィンテージコンディションです。

1875年に銀製品会社"Whitney and Rice"として始まり、1922年"Napier"に社名を変更。宝飾制作技術を生かし、長きにわたりエレガントなジュエリーを発表し続けた人気老舗ブランドです。1950年代には、当時のアイゼンハワー大統領夫人がネイピアから贈呈された象モチーフのゴールドブレスレットを愛用したことでも有名。
