If you do get water coming back up your airline it can cause compressor issues as every time your compressor has to restart, it has to first push the water out of the airline which requires extra pressure. Secondly water in your airline can freeze during the winter months, which means no air comes out and you put undue pressure on your compressor, which can burn up motors and/or break crankshafts and pistons quickly.
This backflow valve comes with 1/2" female NPT threads on the lower end. Please let us know in the comment section if you need an adapter for 3/8" threads and we'll supply that at no extra charge. The hose barb end fits 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8" airline and attaches to both weighted and non-weighted airline with an included stainless steel hose clamp.

Entertaining, informative, without being overwhelming.

Got it for, basically, half-off standard retail. At that price, it's a fine addition to the WWII library. Some interesting information displayed in a mostly entertaining way. I get that battle maps are always a challenge (maps are static - battles are dynamic). This does a fairly adequate job - better than most battle maps - though far from groundbreaking. item arrived well packed - no issues with binding (as some others seem to report). Though the book overall is a bit "warped" and several of the maps are mis-printed or mis-cut as to make them unusable. 3 bad out of 300 - not horrible - again at the price I paid. If the subject interest you - I'd suggest getting - but not a "must have".

For the history buff or student - this is worth the purchase
Format: Hardcover
Detailed, individual maps and history on the battles of World War II. It isn’t too overwhelming for the student and is an enjoyable read for the history buff. Hardback so it will ensure lots of reading and reviews, durable pages too (not those thin, flimsy, easily tearable pages!) - this book will likely stand the test of our schooling years and beyond.
