Comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with the outer layers utilizing a Viton rubber coating. Compressed operating thickness is 0.056". Round Bore. Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gaskets provide maximum sealing performance for todays high output engines and require no sealants. MLS gaskets are ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks. They can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials. MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. The center or shim layer is uncoated stainless steel, which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements.

Delivers what it promises
I’m a fair skinned person who burns and freckles easily and in my 40’s. I also love being outside. I have worn spf on my face (and usually my hands) basically every day since I was 13 and because of that people always say I don’t look my age. Back then, only a 4 or 8 was available in face moisturizers, but I have always worn the highest that is recommended and usually face moisturizers are behind in meeting the recommendations so I have usually worn a full on sunscreen under my makeup. As the recommendations get higher it has been harder to find something that doesn’t look pasty, smell bad or interfere with makeup. I was using Eucerin spf 30 and Cera Ve spf 30 but I have wanted to increase spf to 50 because that is what is recommended now. I tried the Cera Ve spf 50 and was disappointed by how tacky it is and pasty it looks. I don’t even like wearing it alone to the beach because it’s so chalky white and sticky. Neutrogena healthy defense is alright but it has a scent and some chemicals that are not so good. It also is a pretty small bottle (1.7 oz) when you use it everyday on face and hands. But THIS product has blown me away with its affordability and quality. It IS sheer. Easily blends in and disappears quickly into skin. It’s completely odorless. It’s not tacky or greasy—you feel moisturized but not sticky. It performs under foundation even better than the Cera Ve 30. Now, this doesn’t have the extra ceramides and vitamins that does so I’ll still be using that when I feel extra dry like in winter, or I might mix the two moisturizers, but this Solimo reef safe sunscreen will definitely be my daily face and hand sunscreen in the spring, summer and early fall. These are the days I go straight from work to the garden or the beach. I can quickly reapply over my makeup before I leave the house again feel fully protected while I’m out.
