Impressively appointed and only available in a limited quantity, the Fender Made in Japan Traditional '60s Telecaster Daybreak is a rare take on the Fender classic. The Made in Japan Traditional ‘60s Telecaster Daybreak hosts a collection of vintage specifications and hardware pieces to culminate in an immediately attractive instrument. Featuring specifications less common in modern Telecasters, the MIJ Traditional ‘60s Telecaster Daybreak is host to a vintage-inspired “U”-shaped neck that is thicker in hand. The fuller neck is paired with a 7.25” fingerboard radius inspired by original 1960s Telecasters. Working in tandem with the neck to deliver an authentic Telecaster playing experience, tonally, the MIJ Traditional ‘60s Telecaster Daybreak features instantly recognizable Fender vintage-style Telecaster single-coil pickups. Classic Telecaster sounds are not lost as a three-way switch provides responsive control over instantly recognizable Telecaster tones. Appointments such as a real bone nut and vintage-inspired tuners to ensure stability and accuracy in playing accompany a vintage-style three-saddle vibrato bridge. The Fender Made in Japan Traditional ‘60s Telecaster Daybreak is a striking guitar both visually and tonally, utilizing decades worth of design to culminate in a brilliant instrument.

It doesn’t stay in
The pipe keeps coming out. Not worth the money. Not sturdy to hold a top table.

Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly. Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration. Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.

Kinda flimsy…
Thought the assembly was metal, it’s some kind of PVC.
