Crafted to exacting quality standards in Japan, our Select series "Vin-Mod" Roasted Flame Maple half-paddle neck offers players a compelling blend of vintage and modern specs.  With truss rod adjustment at the heel and pre-drilled 2-step vintage tuning key holes, your finished neck will have a classic character.  Combined with a flatter modern 10” fretboard radius and 21 tall/narrow frets, you can expect enhanced comfort, easier string bending and a "best of both worlds" playing experience.  All you'll need to do is cut your preferred headstock shape and finish this beauty to your liking.  

Every unit with this designation is at least AAA grade flame maple, with many units actually exceeding the standard.  We inspect each unit post-production to make certain the finished product is worthy of our AAA guarantee.

Roasting the wood blanks prior to production enhances stability by reducing the moisture content down to around 7%.  The result is a more-resonant neck that’s stronger and less susceptible to changing weather conditions.  Roasting (or cooking) flamed maple also enhances the visual depth of the flame, accentuating the uniqueness of each neck.
