Prepare to unleash an elite, highly adaptable squad with the Deathwatch Kill Team. This boxed set captures the essence of the Imperium’s specialist force, where Space Marines from across the chapters converge to operate as a single, ruthless unit in the Kill Team skirmish game. If you crave tactical depth, modular customization, and storytelling battlefield moments, this is where your 40k adventures begin.

What makes the Deathwatch Kill Team unique

  • Cross-chapter expertise in one squad: Deathwatch draws warriors from multiple Space Marine chapters, giving you a squad built around diverse skill sets, weapon proficiencies, and battlefield roles. This isn’t a single-branch force—it’s a curated team with built-in versatility.
  • Flexible armament and gear: Each model features options for different weapons and equipment, so you can tailor loadouts to specific missions, terrains, and enemy types. This is a Kill Team designed for on-the-fly tactical decisions.
  • Narrative-driven aesthetics: The Deathwatch’s iconography and kit-bashing potential let you create a visually striking squad that tells a story—agents of the Watch bringing justice to threats across the galaxy.
  • Seamless integration with Kill Team play: Built to pair with the current Kill Team ruleset, this set supports quick deployment in introductory skirmishes, escalating campaigns, and narrative missions with minimal setup.

Who this is for

  • Hobbyists who love converting and painting highly characterful miniatures with rich backstories.
  • Players seeking a compact, highly capable squad that can handle a range of mission types—from stealth infiltrations to decisive firefights.
  • Collectors aiming to expand a Deathwatch-led force or to dip into 40k skirmish warfare without committing to a full army.

What you can do with the Deathwatch Kill Team

Use this squad to tackle a variety of missions in urban ruins, fortress halls, or industrial complexes. Its multi-chapter DNA means you can adapt tactics on the fly—deploy stealthy flankers to secure critical objectives, or bring heavy firepower to bear on entrenched targets. The set is equally at home in narrative campaigns where story and strategy intertwine, or in quick, tabletop skirmishes that test your decision-making under pressure.

Practical setup tips

  • Pair the Deathwatch models with terrain that emphasizes line-of-sight control and close-quarters maneuvers to maximize their tactical flexibility.
  • Plan loadouts around mission briefs: if you anticipate stealth objectives, emphasize mobility and anti-armor options; for assault missions, position specialists with heavy weapons for crowd control.
  • Combine with other Deathwatch kits or generic Space Marine bits to enhance customization and create a distinctive, story-driven force.

Getting started and what you’ll need

This Deathwatch Kill Team set is designed to slot into your existing Warhammer 40,000 hobby and gaming setup. To play, you’ll want the Kill Team core rules or access to the current Kill Team play rules, a copy of the relevant codex or rulebook, dice, a ruler or tape measure, and suitable hobby tools for assembly and painting. The kit is optimized for tabletop play right out of the box, with ready-to-paint miniatures and parts that invite your personal touch.

Care, storage, and long-term enjoyment

With proper care, the Deathwatch Kill Team will be a centerpiece of your hobby shelf for years. Clean models before painting, use hobby-grade paints suited to plastic or resin, and store them in a cool, dry place to preserve detail. Regular maintenance—checking joints, reassembling any loose bits, and keeping your paints organized—helps maintain maneuverability and paint integrity over time.

Whether you’re starting a new Kill Team narrative, expanding an existing squad, or hunting for a visually striking centerpiece for your Warhammer 40,000 table, the Deathwatch Kill Team offers a distinct, highly customizable path to immersive sci-fi skirmish gaming. Embrace the Watch, tailor your squad, and let your battlefield stories unfold with precision and purpose.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
