WHAT SIZE DO YOU NEED?

Sizes vary depending on preferred hammock height. Here's a reference for hip and low height hammocks. Remember we tend to use about 1.5-2 feet/.6 meters of fabric in aerial knots, but we get some of that height back depending on how you rig your daisy chains (doubled over or lengthwise).

Please note: the longer the fabric, the more difficult the height will be to adjust. If using in a studio setting or somewhere you will need to adjust the height often, consider getting a shorter fabric (7 yards or under) and using additional rigging to provide extra height.

Check the mount every time you use this hammock to ensure the rigging is secure and the hammock shows no signs of damage or wear. Aerial fitness can be dangerous, so exercise caution and always check with a doctor before use. Do not iron your hammock.
Since there are many different types of overhead environments, Butterfly circus cannot provide instructions on how to rig a hammock in your space. Not all environments are suitable for aerial rigging. You must hire a licensed contractor, or professional rigger to examine your space and determine the proper hardware for safe installation and use.
