release date - 24.04.2024

Every Box contains At Least One #'d Card, One E-X Card, Three Z-Force Cards, Three Retro 1998-99 Metal Universe Variant Cards, Three Skybox Premium Cards & Three Gold Universe and/or High Voltage Cards!

Skybox Metal Universe Champions features a large number of domestic and international high-end prospects and young stars from a variety of sports. There are also a few sporting legends, media personalities and musicians. With diverse checklists, beautiful designs and a bevy of tantalizing chase cards, Skybox Metal Universe Champions provides one of the most exciting box and case breaks in the world of card collecting and is a favorite amongst collectors!

The base set consists of 100 regular cards - each sporting a unique background design provided by the team that created the original 1997-98 Metal Universe set - and 50 high-series All-Millennium cards (a new name and design for the high-series subset).

The parallel lineup is deep and full of chase cards, highlighted by the coveted Silver Auto, Gold Auto (low-#'d) and Precious Metal Gems (PMG) parallels: Red (#'d to 100), Blue (#'d to 50), Green (#'d to 10) and Gold (#'d 1-of-1). Additionally, there are two all-new Light FX parallels: Pink FX (#'d to 75) and Orange FX (#'d to 25).

The 2023 edition sports a wide variety of intriguing inserts, including several new additions:
- NEW! Dark Matter: Lucky collectors will pull one of these rare gems built on black soft touch stock! Several of the biggest names in the product are featured in this new insert.
- NEW! E-X: These brightly-colored cards with a PETG back, a die-cut Rainbow Foil top sheet and a popped-out prospect or legend are sure to be a hit! Collect one (1) per box, on average, and keep an eye out for low-#'d Essential Credentials Then and Essential Credentials Now parallels.
- Fresh Foundations: The checklist for this popular insert features only top prospects and young stars. This set also boasts a new design and the same parallel lineup as the base set!
- NEW! Gold Universe & High Voltage: Printed on pattern rainbow foil-board, both of these beautiful new sets feature several of the biggest names in the product. Collect at least one (1) card from each set per box, on average.
- Golden Touch: This case hit returns after a successful 2022 debut. It is a revamped version of a classic insert that features a perimeter die-cut and a best-of-the-best checklist.
- Jambalaya: These iconic cards sport a spectacular new design and the best-of-the-best athletes.
- NEW! Retro 1998-99 Metal Universe Variants: This collection of cards features the top athletes from the base set on the 1998-99 Metal Universe base set design. Each box will contain, on average, three (3) of these cards. There are also Gold (#'d to 50) and Master (#'d 1-of-1) PMG parallels to search for, both of which would be a valuable addition to any collection!
- Skybox Premium: Another classic insert consisting of the top names from the base set. There are six serially-#'d parallels, highlighted by the Star Emerald (#'d to 25), Star Amethyst (#'d to 10) and Star Diamond (#'d 1-of-1) parallels, as well as a retro design variant set #'d to 50 that sports the 1998-99 Skybox Premium Star Rubies design! There is also a rare Auto parallel of the design variant set. Each box will contain, on average, three (3) regular Skybox Premium cards.
- Z-Force: The design of this popular set, which also debuted in 2022, resembles a classic '90's Z-Force design. Each box will contain, on average, three (3) Z-Force cards. We've also added two new parallels. In addition to the returning Rave (#'d to 150) and Super Rave (#'d to 50) parallels, collectors can also now hunt for Galaxy Rave (#'d to 25) and Universe Rave (#'d 1-of-1) parallels!

Great value for your money!
Color: A-Silver
Yessss! Real espresso maker! Excellent brewing capacity. Easy to use. Made with great quality material. The machine comes with all the pamphlets & easy to read instructions which say to heat twice for extra hot coffee, but honestly the coffee comes out VERY hot & tasty without double-heating. Also comes carefully packaged to prevent damage during delivery. Great value for your money!

Plastic, but Well Performing Machine
Color: A-Silver
My household has been using the Casabrewa 5418 PRO multiple times a day for over a month now. It's function and directions are excellent. With some experimenting, it makes acceptable and delicious espresso. This is an entry model machine that does exactly what you want it to. It heats fast and produces espresso fast. However, for the price point the amount of plastic is a bit disappointing. The machine has the appearance of being stainless steel while being constructed almost entirely of plastic. If you want an entry level espresso machine and you don't mind the plastic, this is an excellent option.

Who cares if its plastic... let's not be silly
Color: A-Silver
Why are people so obsessed with metal housing? Metal literally serves no purpose. It's just a cover. It won't make a better coffee with metal housing nor will it last longer. I personally don't care what it "feels" like to touch it, I don't even notice it. I make coffee with it, it's a tool. I don't touch it to "feel how nice it is". That's just weird. Anyway, what a great machine. To me instant heating is worth all the missing features of fancier machines combined. I've had it for several months now, and I have it dialed in. I make up to 5-6 lattes a day and I've made about a 1000 by now. Still working great. Not interested in upgrading.

Great Budget Espresso Machine That Performs Better Than Others Costing Much More
Color: A-Silver
I’ve been using the Casabrews 5418 Pro for a few months now and it’s been a solid addition to my kitchen. It looks sleek and feels well‑built for the price, and it heats up extremely fast — reaching brewing temperature in just a few seconds thanks to its FlashHeat™ system. The 20‑bar pump and built‑in pressure gauge give you good feedback while pulling shots, and the steam wand produces nicely textured milk for lattes and cappuccinos. The removable water tank is a nice touch and makes refilling easy. While it’s not perfect — the included portafilter and tamper feel a budget‑oriented and the pressurized baskets don’t deliver espresso as rich as you’d get from higher‑end machines — it’s a great performer for beginners or casual espresso drinkers. Upgrade the portafilter basket and tamper but for a more premium experience especially if using it daily. That said, the included accessories are perfectly fine for a casual user. Overall, this machine offers excellent value for the price. If you want a compact, easy‑to‑use espresso maker that consistently produces enjoyable drinks (especially milk‑based ones), this is a great choice. I am more than pleased with my purchase and you will be too. One thing that I learned and it’s the most significant piece of information I will pass along. You don’t need an espresso dark roast coffee for espresso. It’s your preferred roast, grind, and freshness that make the difference. Try your favorite roast in an espresso grind and enjoy!

Great buy, especially in its price range and perhaps even beyond
Color: A-Silver
Hope not to jinx it and have to change this review in six months but I'm extremely pleased with this machine. I've gone through two DeLonghis that lasted me each 4-5 years and I've liked them a lot, but both have eventually leaked and had quirks that were never ever answered/remedied by their customer service. I bought this Casabrews on spec, after looking through all sorts of alternatives, even hand models. I read through customer reviews, including the negative ones complaining about noise, its weight (or, rather lack of), claims over shoddy materials (its plastic components), alleged issues with its wand and basket, the quality of its shots, and so on. I was concerned about buying a product from a relatively new company with a short track record. But, OTOH, there were some very positive, persuasive reviews online. I'm from a coffee-producing nation and have more of it in my veins than blood so it's an absolute daily must-have that an increasingly leaking DeLonghi wasn't going to provide for long so I was facing an emergency. That this model was on sale at Amazon was a welcome incentive since, by the same token that I know what I like in coffee and scoff at the pretentious, opinionated coffee snobishness that too often characterizes conversations over it in the US, I've never been persuaded by the fancy-schmancy high-end, pocket-gouging machines on the market. While I've only had it for several weeks, I'm delighted with it. It's way faster than my old DeLonghis. I love that I don't have to hover over it watching to make sure it doesn't overflow because it turns itself off--and while I'm perfectly happy with the amount I'm getting without tinkering with it, it's programmable for longer shots. It's relatively quieter--noise complaints are likely from new users of espresso machines unused to their noise. It is lighter than my old machines, but the good news is that the basket fit loosens with use and a light hand on top of it solves the issue. The quibble about the basket falling from the wand seems to be more, again, about unobservant users who don't notice their design and the notch that locks the basket in place. It's also a preferable design than the wire in the DeLonghis, which would get loose and end up in our countertop compost bin when shaking out the puck. I even prefer the wetter pucks of used coffee it produces because they're way easier to scoop out of the basket than the DeLonghi's rock hard ones (even bent one of my demitasse spoons once). And, most importantly, the coffee is ABSOLUTELY FINE, even preferable to what I'd been getting from my old machines. And, hey, if it happens to have a short life, I'll just return and revise my rating and review.
