This guitar's chambered mahogany body starts the experience out easily. With it, Gretsch pairs an arched maple top, resulting in an overall balanced acoustic voice and an impressive sonic profile. This combination of maple and chambered mahogany makes this guitar a marvel of low, mid, and high frequencies. The experience keeps rolling from there with a mahogany neck shaped in a Thin "U" profile. Smoothly played, this neck facilitates quick moves from higher to lower registers.

Along with its mahogany neck, this Electromatic brings a laurel fingerboard into the equation. This fingerboard measures with a very flat, twelve-inch radius and is lined with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Providing a familiar and easy feel across the fingers, these frets and fingerboard radius inspire comfortable and articulate fretting spanning its full-scale length.

For its voice, this Electromatic Pristine Jet comes to form with two FT-5E Filter'Tron humbucking pickups.
