There is a zippered pocket, a small pouch and small coin purse included and attached by a lovely navy cord. La Marquise is stamped in gold lettering on the inside pouch. The vinyl interior makes this bag very easy to keep clean. The white on the exterior feels more like leather, but I'm not quite sure.
