Deze compacte maar krachtige Dutch oven is ideaal voor het bereiden van stoofgerechten, soepen en zelfs vers brood. Met een inhoud van ongeveer 3 liter kun je makkelijk genoeg maken voor drie à vier personen, of bijvoorbeeld drie eieren bakken in één keer. Door de stevige, vlakke bodem blijft de pan stabiel op het rooster of fornuis, en het zware deksel met druppelpatroon houdt je gerechten mals en smaakvol. Op welke warmtebronnen?

Deze gietijzeren pan is geschikt voor praktisch alle warmtebronnen: gas, elektrisch, keramisch, inductie, BBQ en open vuur. Je kunt ’m ook zonder problemen in de oven schuiven tot ver boven 260°C. De dikke wanden en het zware deksel maken ’m perfect voor langzaam garen, terwijl de platte bodem zorgt voor een stabiele basis op elk type kookplaat of kampvuur.

Onderhoud van je Windmill gietijzer

De The Gietijzeren BBQ Pan M is pre-seasoned, dus je kunt meteen aan de slag. Na gebruik volstaat warm water met een zachte borstel. Grondig afdrogen is cruciaal om roest te voorkomen. Breng daarna een dun laagje olie aan op de binnen- én buitenkant. Zo blijft de natuurlijke anti-aanbaklaag (seasoning) in topconditie. Eventuele roestplekken zijn eenvoudig weg te schuren en opnieuw te seasonen. Hoe vaker je ‘m gebruikt, hoe beter de beschermlaag wordt.
