Zo’n 300 kilometer ten zuiden van Santiago de Chile vinden we het wijnhuis Carta Vieja in het hart van het Maule gebied. Vandaag de dag staat de zevende generatie van de familie del Pedregal aan het roer van een van de oudste wijnhuizen in Chili. De wijngaarden beslaan 550 hectare wijngaarden in de Valle del Maule, waar ze een grote variatie aan druivensoorten aangeplant hebben staan. Binnen het assortiment bestaan er drie verschillende lijnen; de Varietals, waar deze Cabernet Sauvignon onder valt, Reserva en Gran Reserva. Er worden miljoenen flessen jaarlijks geproduceerd waar we over de hele wereld van mogen genieten. Tegen het eind van april worden de rijpen Cabernet Sauvignon druiven handmatig geoogst. Ze worden vrijwel direct naar de moderne wijnmakerij gebracht waar een koude inweking van vijf dagen volgt. De temperatuur gecontroleerde fermentatie vindt plaats bij 22 tot 26 graden waarbij er elke drie dagen de most wordt overgepompt. De wijn rijpt maar liefst 12 maanden in Franse eikenhouten vaten, waarvan de helft nieuw is.Een krachtige Cabernet Sauvignon van Carta Vieja
De Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva kleurt kersenrood in het glas, waarbij de geur direct vrijkomt. Sterke aroma’s van cassis, zwarte kers, koffie en kruidige tonen verleiden je direct tot de eerste slok. In de mond heerlijk geconcentreerd met rijp rood fruit, toffee en chocolade. I'll Take Three!

I got this on sale for $67. The process to assemble it was very straightforward and used an Allen wrench. It was rated as the best item in its category and had five stars. I wouldn't consider it a gaming chair, Although it tries to be one. It feels more like an office chair that was glam up to be a gaming chair. But it does an excellent job at supporting a tall large individual, Excellent Support, Good posture. Worth every penny, But not in the same category as a typical gaming chair. Lack some of the bells and whistles had a typical gaming chair would have, But every bit the money I paid for it. If you want something nicer then you need to buy like a $200+ Gaming chair with the bells and whistles.
