Vodde maakt zijn sokken helemaal duurzaam door gerecyclede stoffen te gebruiken verzameld uit alle hoeken van Nederland, het polyester halen ze uit plasticafval als visnetten en plasticflessen.

Door COVID zijn ze nóg milieubewust geworden en heeft Vodde zijn sokkenmachines naar Nederland gehaald. Lokaal geproduceerd in Tilburg; gemaakt door mensen met een afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt, kunstenaars en garenspinners. Heerlijk eerlijke sokken dus met een uniek randje.

The only downside is the velcro closure is not that great compared to the rest of the shoe. The velcro becomes weak or not as sticky well before the shoe has run its course. I’m a big fan of Sauconys so I wanted to introduce my daughter to my love of sneakers. These are good shoes and they’ve held up well. They show a lot of dirt but they’re worn by a toddler so I guess that’s expected. They’re lightweight so my daughter can easily walk in them. My only complaint is the length of the Velcro fastener.
