Het huis Billecart-Salmon biedt een assortiment elegante en edele champagnes, wat de doorbraak betekende in de Franse en internationale gastronomie. Opgericht in 1818 door Nicolas François Billecart en Elisabeth Salmon, is het motto altijd hetzelfde geweest. Met de focus op kwaliteit en streven naar uitmuntendheid, produceert dit huis hun Champagnes met veel elegantie. Vandaag de dag staat de zevende generatie in de vorm van Francois Roland Billecart aan het roer. De druiven zijn afkomstig van veertig verschillende cru-locaties in Champagne op een oppervlakte van ongeveer 220 hectare. De Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier en Pinot Noir druiven worden zorgvuldig geoogst in de wijnmakerij volgt een koude stabilisatie op 5 graden gevolgd door een koele vergisting in roestvrijstalen tanks. De temperatuur is in eerste instantie 12 graden en stijgt geleidelijk naar 18 graden voor de malolactische gisting. De uitzonderlijke cuvée wordt tot slot volledig op hout gevinificeerd.Hoe smaakt de Champagne Billecart Salmon Brut Sous Bois?
De Brut Sous Bois is een zuiver wijn met een fonkelende gele kleur met gouden details. In de glas dansen de belletjes waarbij je direct geniet van de intense en complexe geur. Dankzij de vinificatie op hout heeft het een rijke geur met gedroogde vruchten, verse citrus, witte vruchten en verleidelijke nuances van roomboter. Op de tong vloeit de complexiteit en is de champagne mondvullend met een zachte structuur. Heerlijk romig met levendige frisheid. Ook in de smaak profiteert de wijn van de houtlagering. This rug is a fabulous quality for the price!! Thick, soft, great looking. They ship it with a brush and a storage bag... highly impressed. This is my 3rd fur shag from this company. I have 2 cream ones in my master. Im going to order a black one too, just to change it up.
Zero smell, functional, nice size, durable... im in love!! It would look very cool on a chair, the back of a couch next to the FP, or even on a bed.... authentically pleasing for sure.

Very nice quality

I ordered three of these, and they arrived promptly and very well packaged in a vacuum seal pack. Once you pull them out, shake them and fluff them a little bit they lose their wrinkles pretty quickly. They seem to be very good quality and are authentically sheepskin. The “white” has a tiny little bit of a yellow undertone, which is what I expected since it’s basically a dyed sheep skin. I would call the white color “natural” rather than white white. They are very thick and were a good price. I ordered two of the three foot-long hides and one 6ft foot hide. One of the hides had a slight odor to it that reminded me a little bit of eggs. It’s been laying on my bench all night and 24 hours later there is no smell. The other two hides had zero smell at all. I think it’s just a little leftover chemical smell from the treatment of the hide when they get it ready. It wasn’t overwhelming or overpowering. If you’re looking for the ultimate SUPER plush sheepskin, I recommend the Overland Sheepskin Company. However, for what I need these for which is just something to throw over my dining room table bench for a little cushion and aesthetics. It’s absolutely perfect and the right price point.
