Engineered for seamless integration with the Teradek RT system, TOF.1 connects via a single motor cable to the MDR.X Lens Control Receiver, enabling distance readouts on CTRL.1, CTRL.3, and CTRL.5 wireless controllers, as well as SmallHD monitors running PageOS 4 or later. With a hyper-accurate IR sensor and a 3° field of view, TOF.1 detects subjects up to 80 feet away and refreshes measurements 60 times per second, allowing for responsive autofocus and precise lens motor adjustments. A proprietary smoothing algorithm ensures fluid transitions without jitter, while the detachable laser sight helps operators visually align the sensor’s field of view. The system supports customizable overlays on SmallHD monitors, giving camera assistants critical follow-focus data directly on screen.
