ELAC ConneX DCB41-Adsum is ontstaan uit de samenwerking met het Amerikaanse designer kledingmerk Adsum, dat actief is in o.a. Amerika, Duitsland en Engeland. DCB41-Adsum onderscheidt zicht met een volledig in satijn wit gelakte behuizing, magnetisch front en een standaard ten opzichte van de standaardversie. Technisch en qua klank zijn de DCB41 en de DCB41-Adsum identiek.

Compacte behuizing met hoogwaardige drivers

De behuizing is heel rigide gebouwd. De S-vorm basreflexpoort aan de achterzijde zorgt tevens voor extra versteviging. In één van de luidsprekers is de versterkerunit ondergebracht, welke verbonden dient te worden met de andere luidspreker via een meegeleverde luidsprekerkabel. Om te garanderen dat de DCB41-ADsdum boven verwachting presteert is een “lange slag” polypropyleen woofer ingezet en een softdome tweeter met een grote waveguide voor optimale spreiding.

Flexibele connectiviteit met aandacht voor detail

Eigenlijk is de DCB41-Adsum een compleet audiosysteem. Voor audiostreaming vanaf smartphone, tablet of laptop kan de Bluetooth aptX ontvanger worden gebruikt. Een TV kan aangesloten worden via de HDMI-ARC ingang, zodat het volume met de TV-afstandsbediening kan worden geregeld. Via de analoge ingangen kan een externe bron worden aangesloten, waaronder zelfs een platenspeler. Een gameconsole kan via de digitale optische ingang en op de USB-B (24bit/96kHz) kan een PC of MAC computer worden aangesloten, waarmee dan ook het volume geregeld kan worden. De LED op de actieve luidspreker geeft in verschillende kleuren de bronkeuze aan. De intensiteit van de LED kan met de afstandsbediening ingesteld worden. Maak van de DCB41-Adsum een complete streamer met alle gangbare streamingdiensten, internetradio en Airplay met de optionele Advance Paris WTX-microstream.

XBass, laagweergave naar persoonlijke wens

Wat voor de één de optimale weergave van lage tonen is, hoeft dat niet voor een ander te zijn. Daarnaast heeft de akoestiek en grootte van de ruimte invloed op de laagweergave. Ook kunnen er per muziekbron andere eisen gesteld worden. Voor weergave bij games worden andere eisen gesteld worden dan bij muziekweergave. Om die reden heeft ELAC XBass laagversterking. XBass kan via de afstandsbediening aan/uit gezet worden en er kan uit twee versterkingsstanden worden gekozen.
