Druif en vinificatie
Deze wijn wordt volledig gemaakt van Pinot Noir, afkomstig van het Premier Cru-perceel Clos de la Fussière, een monopole van Xavier Monnot in Maranges. De wijngaard ligt op klei-kalksteenbodem met een uitstekende zuid- tot zuidoostelijke expositie. De druiven worden met de hand geoogst, zorgvuldig geselecteerd en gedeeltelijk ontsteeld. De fermentatie vindt plaats in eikenhouten vaten, gevolgd door een rijping van ongeveer 12 tot 14 maanden op Frans eiken, waarvan een deel nieuw is. Dit zorgt voor structuur en complexiteit zonder het fruit te overheersen.

Over Domaine Xavier Monnot
Domaine Xavier Monnot is gevestigd in Meursault en beheert ongeveer 17 hectare aan wijngaarden verspreid over de Côte de Beaune, waaronder prestigieuze Premier Cru-percelen in onder meer Maranges, Volnay en Beaune. Het domein staat bekend om zijn combinatie van moderne precisie en traditionele Bourgondische elegantie. Monnot streeft naar wijnen met puur fruit, fijne textuur en subtiele houtintegratie. Zijn stijl is verfijnd en evenwichtig, waarbij terroir en druif duidelijk tot uitdrukking komen.

Jaar 2021 in de Côte de Beaune
Een uitstekend jaar met wijnen die relatief vroeg op dronk zijn en een elegante structuur tonen. Door het koelere groeiseizoen hebben de wijnen een verfijnde frisheid, levendige zuren en een uitgesproken Bourgondisch karakter. Ze zijn nu al bijzonder aantrekkelijk, maar kunnen ook nog enkele jaren verder ontwikkelen.

Foodpairing
De Maranges 1er Cru Clos de la Fussière combineert prachtig met verfijnde gerechten als eend met kersen, kalfslende met paddenstoelensaus of geroosterde kwartel. Ook bij gerijpte kazen als Comté of Tomme de Savoie komt zijn elegante structuur volledig tot zijn recht.

Was a great read. What a fantastic Hidden Gem I hope doesn't stay hidden. This was a great darkest reverse harem. The FMC was kidnapped in abuse in her past her and her mom are staying on the property of a different Mafia that uses Greek names. Hiding there for safety. But I would call this like a medium burn. They get together this book and there are some spicy steamy scenes. But I'm really here for the plot the plot is great the characters are great. I kind of had a feeling of one of the thing is going down from the title of the next book and just a feeling that I got. There are multiple povs it's more the fmc's point of view but we got the guys povs only need them which I really liked. I really love the story it's really enjoyable I'm so excited for next book and I'm really excited to see that the authors would be putting out a book every month after this book I can say I'm excited to read anything that she writes I'm hoping they're all RH. There were some like typos spelling errors but it did not hinder my reading experience. Just Small Things having someone do a once-over on could pick up. But honestly like it's is a five-star read in an extremely impressive debut and even if it wasn't a debut I would say it's impressive. It's hard to balance a story with this type of feel a lot of times I think it came out really well and I'm completely enthralled I can't wait for more highly recommend
