D’Arenberg doet er alles aan om onze ecologische voetafdruk op aarde te verkleinen. Het bewijs van de impact van de mensheid op de planeet is zo overweldigend dat experts de aankondiging van een nieuwe geologische tijd hebben aanbevolen, het Antropoceen Epoch. Vandaar de d’Arenberg besloot om hier de wijn naar te vernoemen. Mede ook om aandacht te vragen voor de zorg die wij voor de aarde hebben. Wijnmaker Chester Osborn gaat zeer secuur te werk. Hij wandelt door de rijen wijngaarden en proeft regelmatig de druiven. Zo kan hij bepalen wanneer het de ideale pluktijd is voor elke inidivuele wijngaard. Kleine partijen druiven worden voorzichtig geplet en vervolgens overgebracht naar open fermentoren. Twee derde van de wijn wordt nog met de voet geperst, om zo een mooie concentratie te krijgen. De wijn verblijft tot slot nog 9 maanden op Franse eikenhouten vaten.Hoe smaakt de d'Arenberg The Anthropocene Epoch?
The Anthropocene Epoch van d’Arenberg is fris, levendig en enorm aromatisch. De geuren springen gewoon uit het glas. De eerste indrukken zijn: zwart fruit, zwarte olijven, peper en geroosterd vlees. Het is medium tot vol, met iets meer kruiden in de mond. Vrij glad en strak, en gelukkig niet overdreven tannine, maar toch knapperig en pittig.Shipping Notes

...and smells good too!
This lotion seems to be making my crepe skin kinda disappear?? It is so moisturizing & the scent is heavenly. I have used it on my face but it was a little much so I had to put it on while my skin was wet with water. That seemed to do the trick. In Colorado your skin can get super dry & this product seems to replenish softness & moisture.

Extremely Helpful for Dry, Irritated Skin but Personally Too Heavy for My Face

This is one of those products that I completely understand the hype around because it truly does work very well for dry, irritated, over-processed, or compromised skin areas. The texture is rich, soothing, and very protective without having a strong fragrance, which I appreciate because heavily scented skincare products usually irritate my skin immediately.
I have found this especially helpful for dry patches, irritation from weather, over-exfoliation, and areas where the skin barrier simply feels stressed or uncomfortable. A very small amount goes a long way and the tube itself lasted much longer than I expected.
That being said, for me personally this product is simply too heavy to use regularly on my face because I am somewhat breakout-prone with richer creams. While it feels incredibly soothing, I personally prefer using it more selectively on very dry or irritated areas rather than as an all-over facial moisturizer.
The packaging arrived perfectly sealed with no leaking or damage during shipping and the product looked exactly as expected upon arrival. For the amount you receive and how little is needed per use, I also think the value is very good compared to many other barrier repair creams.
Overall, I absolutely understand why so many people love this product and I do think it is excellent for repairing and protecting irritated skin — I just personally have to be careful about where and how heavily I apply it.

Excellent skincare product

I am very happy with this product. I have been using it on irritated and dry skin, and I noticed a big improvement in a short time. It has a smooth texture, absorbs well, and does not feel greasy. It helps calm the skin quickly and restores the skin barrier. I have used it both on my face and on small sensitive areas of the body, and it works very well in both cases. It is definitely a skincare essential that I will always keep in my routine. I highly recommend it.
