Super slijtvast

Het gebruik van ultra-hard wolfraamcarbide (hardheid > 2700Hv, tot 2900Hv) garandeert een superieure slijtvastheid, waardoor langdurig printen mogelijk is zonder slijtage van de nozzle-opening en de tip.

Hoge temperatuurbestendigheid

De nozzle bestaat uit wolfraamcarbide en een koperlegering met superieure hardheid en uitstekende geleiding. De maximale printtemperatuur kan oplopen tot 550℃.

Lage invoerweerstand

De wolfraamcarbide nozzle met een zuiverheid van meer dan 99,98% en uitstekende thermische eigenschappen houdt tijdens het printen een gelijkmatige temperatuur bij de nozzle-opening, wat een stabiele extrusie garandeert.

Snellere extrusiesnelheid

Dankzij de hoge thermische prestaties van de nozzle kan de printsnelheid verder worden verhoogd zonder de kwaliteit aan te tasten. De unieke doorgang in de nozzle verbetert de doorstroomsnelheid in het binnenste gat aanzienlijk.

Lage wrijvingscoëfficiënt dankzij nanocoating

De gehele nozzle wordt na het aanbrengen van een harde en gladde nikkelcoating voorzien van een WS2-nanocoating. De wrijvingscoëfficiënt van het oppervlak is slechts 0,03, wat een schone printkwaliteit garandeert zonder dat kunststof aan de nozzle blijft kleven.

Nice functional printer at a low price-point

At this price-point, the WF-3820 is a winner for a home printer with not much printing volume. It prints well. It was easy to set up the printer and wireless printing from a couple of computers. It uses ink cartridges. While Epson goes to great lengths to advertise/tout its cartridge-free printer models, if you don't print a lot this unit will do fine for you. Did I mention that it's relatively cheap? Has a fax function, but I don't have a landline anymore. It is a bit tall, and you have to open the scanner to access the ink cartridges; so beware if you're putting it in a cabinet or shelf without some decent head room.

Given the 'not so good' reviews, I was a little apprehensive to buy this printer at first. This replaces a WF3620, in which I was very happy with its performance. But the print head began to print only Yellow and Black, and several attempts to 'unclog' the Cyan and Magenta nossles proved unsuccessful. But, I am very happy with the WF3820 - both with the price and the performance. It is faster and the graphics are clear and sharp. The 'jury' is still out on how much toner it uses, but suspect it is around the same as with the WF3620. If so, then I will retain my 5 Star rating.
