Nylon Metal is een van de meest iconische stoffen in het archief van Stone Island: een nylon met een gelamineerde metallic finish die de stof een karakteristieke glans geeft die ’s avonds en bij beweging oplicht. In de versie met ECONYL is de stof vervaardigd van geregenereerd nylon: grondstof afkomstig uit afgedankte visnetten, tapijtresten en industrieel nylonafval die chemisch worden teruggebracht tot virgin-kwaliteit nylon. Hetzelfde materiaalgevoel, een substantieel schoner verhaal.

Deze Stone Island joggingbroek is vervaardigd van Nylon Metal in Econyl: de kenmerkende gelamineerde nylon met metallic coating die het Stone Island-archief heeft gedefinieerd, nu in de duurzame Econyl-uitvoering. De constructie combineert een elastische tailleband met een koordaansluiting, twee zij-insteekvakken en een kleine achterzak of een geribde enkelboord, afhankelijk van de exacte uitvoering. De metallic nylon-oppervlak weerkaatst licht op een manier die de broek direct onderscheidt van elke andere joggingbroek op de markt — dit is geen athleisure-basic maar een ontwerpobjekt van een specifieke categorie. Het materiaal is windbestendig en waterafstotend, wat de broek ook functioneel sterk maakt. Het Stone Island-patch op de dij positioneert de branding precies waar je hem verwacht. A questionable call...

In the world of prophetic literature, when I encounter books with numerous testimonials about its importance, I see red flags stating to fly, and I am warned of a man-made agenda, rather than a movement of God. Joseph Z (or his publisher, Hamilton House) have incorporated no fewer than 33 testimonials from pastors and teachers throughout the prophetic movement to life up praises to this writing. (Methinks they doth need to advertise too much?) However, it IS well written, and you will not be bored as you go through the material. I have found that the quiet leading of the Holy Spirit is a much more convincing move for me to read a publication than a cacophony of voices shouting its praises to the rooftops. True to form, I find Joseph Z, his publication, and his views, though heavily laced with scripture, to be aligned with the calling and agenda of the Christian Nationalists and their widespread movement in the US, today. If you see a calling to take over and change the world for Christ before HE comes (especially from the standpoint of the culture and government of the US), then this writing will appeal to you and support your supposed calling. The idea of an 'Elijah company' calling in the Body of Christ is always purported to come from a new revelation, simply because that concept can't be supported within scripture and its traditional interpretation. The new calling is simply an attempt to justify taking the gospel hostage to a political agenda of 'improving' our country, government, or culture. This concept is outside the traditional bounds of scripture, hence its support by a new group of prophets and/or apostles, with a 'new' message to the Body. I, too, believe that scripture confirms that Elijah will come to prepare the way of the Lord before HE returns in these last days. However, I see that person to be a single individual, as was Elijah in the Old Testament, and John the Baptist, in the New. I don't see a company (plural) being called into this position, nor do I see a mandate for the Body of Christ to occupy any earth-based land or system in anticipation of the Lord's return. Israel was promised an earthly Land; the Body of Christ never was, and no matter how many voices are raised up to declare otherwise, it isn't true. I will not stand in the way of those who follow this movement, but I will not be joining them. I'm content to let the Lord work out HIS plan in HIS time and in HIS way.
