De Ficus Nitida is een compacte ficussoort met kleine, ovale, donkergroene blaadjes die dicht bij elkaar groeien en een volle, uniforme bladerkroon vormen. In combinatie met de gevlochten stam heeft hij een tijdloze, klassieke uitstraling die past bij zowel moderne als traditionele interieurs.

Standplaats en verzorging

Zet de Ficus Nitida op een lichte tot halfschaduwige plek zonder directe zon. Hij verdraagt wat meer schaduw dan de Ficus Lyrata maar gedijt het best bij voldoende indirect licht. Geef water als de bovenste laag potgrond licht droog aanvoelt en geef maandelijks plantenvoeding van april tot september.
