Wijngebied de Bordeaux is ontzettend belangrijk voor de wijnbouw in het algemeen. Dankzij de inspanningen die hier vorige eeuwen is uitgevoerd, kunnen wij nu genieten van wijn over de hele wereld. Het waren namelijk de wijnen uit de Bordeaux die wijn gingen maken voor het ‘normale’ publiek, alvorens wijn enkel voor de adel was. Ook Chateau Lagrange heeft een adellijke geschiedenis. Het was namelijk het koninklijke huis Lagrange de Monteil die samenging met wijnhuis Pellacahus. Chateau Lagrange heeft ruim 100 hectare. Het grootste gedeelte hiervan ligt in de 3de Grand Cru, een van de mooiste wijngaarden in de regio. Deze wijngaarden werden al in 1787 geclassificeerd door de toenmalige Amerikaanse ambassadeur Thomas Jefferson - de latere president. Al ruim 2 eeuwen behoren deze wijngaarden van Chateau Lagrange tot deze imposante classificatie. De druiven die groeien op deze belangrijkste wijngaarden worden onderdeel van het kroonjuweel van Chateau Lagrange: Chateau Lagrange Saint Julien 3de Grand Cru Classe. Hiervoor worden enkele de allerbeste druiven gebruikt. Het grootste gedeelte wordt opgenomen door de Cabernet Sauvignon, maar ook de Merlot en Petit Verdot hebben een belangrijke taak in deze rode wijn. Bijzonder is vooral de houtrijping: maar liefst 21 maanden rijpt het sap op eikenhout, waarvan maar liefst 60% nieuw eiken is. Bereid je dus maar voor op een intense wijn! Diep, donker en zwaar: dat is wat we zoeken in een goede Saint-Julien wijn. Je zintuigen maken overuren zodra Chateau Lagrange Saint Julien 3de Grand Cru Classe wordt ingeschonken. Dikke pruimen, bramen en iets van zwarte bessen. Maar wacht, er is nog veel meer. Wanneer je de wijn in je mond walst, ontwikkeld zich een complex doch expressief boeket van menthol, drop en zwarte peper. Ondanks de pure tonen is de afdronk verbazingwekkend zacht.Shipping Notes

Dog approved.

I’m a 70 lbs Goldendoodle (supposed to be 65, don’t ask) and I love cheese. Real cheese. Sharp cheddar with sourdough bread is my dream, but apparently I’m “on a health journey,” so my people bought me this instead.
Does this bone actually taste like cheese? No. I am not fooled.
Do I still enjoy chewing it loudly while my humans are trying to watch TV? Absolutely yes.
This bone satisfies my need to chew and my emotional desire for cheese-adjacent activities. It keeps me busy, saves the furniture, and lets me crunch dramatically during important dialogue scenes. The yellow color is nice — very cheese-coded — although some cheeses are white, so just something to consider for future versions.
Also, good news: it doesn’t smell like cheese at all, which my humans seem very grateful for. Apparently they don’t want the carpet to smell like a deli. Weird.
Final verdict:
Not cheese.
Still enjoyable.

Amazing for Heavy Chewers!

If you have a dog that destroys every toy in minutes, Benebone is a total game changer. These chews are incredibly durable and actually last—especially for strong or aggressive chewers. They’re made with real flavors like bacon, chicken, and peanut butter, which dogs absolutely love, and you can tell because they keep coming back to it again and again.
What I love most is that they keep my dog busy and satisfied without the mess or smell of traditional bones. They’re also thoughtfully designed with shapes that are easy for dogs to grip and chew comfortably.

Excellent quality chews. Tiny Puppy size is perfect for adult toy breed dogs.

I bought the Tiny Puppy Bacon flavor 2-pack package of these, and my dog and his sister are obsessed with them. They chew on them multiple times every day. They seem to be fairly durable, although I expect they will break down over time, which is okay as it’s a chew. I like that they stay intact, with no chunks breaking off for the dogs to swallow. The dogs do ingest a small amount as the material breaks down, but I always supervise them when they have these, and there haven’t been any problems. It’s difficult to find good chews for toy breed dogs like our 12-pound Shih Tzus, so I was happy to find these. They are pricey, but I believe they are worth it. The dogs love to carry them around, and my little guy even plays with his chew sometimes like it’s a toy.
