Erg mooie originele niet opnieuw geverfde zwart lak Leica M2 camera uit de eerste originele zwart lak batch van 500 camera's (948601-949100) uit 1958. Van de eerste batch zijn er camera's met een zogenaamde button release filmterugspoelknop en sommige met een hendel. Er wordt gezegd dat van de 500 black paint camera's van deze eerste batch slechts 150 een hendel hadden, wat dit een zeer interessant en zeldzaam exemplaar maakt. De zwart lak Leica M2 camera's uit de eerste serie hadden geen zelfontspanner. Vanaf 949101 werden de camera's standaard geleverd met een zelfontspanner. Dit exemplaar is een erg mooie en interessante Leica M2. Enige verfslijtage zoals te zien op de foto's is zichtbaar maar dat is wat de camera zo mooi maakt. De camera is technisch in perfecte staat. Zoeker is helder en contrastrijk. Sluitertijden zijn nauwkeurig. Alles werkt perfect. Een klein ontbrekend stukje vulkaniet is gerepareerd. Geweldige camera. De camera wordt geleverd met de originele vroege bodemplaat met correcte ontgrendelknop en cameradeksel met messing binnenkant. Geweldige camera om te gebruiken of te verzamelen.

It’s painful. Not worth it.

I hate it. Period. Very strong feelings about it right out of the box. Gave it a few days, and not only do I still hate it but it’s very painful to use. The rubber material is hard and has pressure points that make you come away feeling like you’ve rested your wrist on the edge of a table for too long. I come away more sore using this than not. They only have small and large sizes, I think the small is too small for me? (I’m not sure. I can tell it doesn’t fit well, but I can’t tell if it’s because it’s too small or the shape isn’t right for my wrist). In any event, I am sure the large would be too large and even if they had a medium size I still wouldn’t repurchase this. Maybe if you’ve got some meat on your bones it would be more comfortable but as you can see, I am a very thin person and this is pressing on all the wrong places. I also feel like the center valley part contributes to carpal tunnel pain because the very firm edges of each side rested right in that area, not offering any support to the valley of the wrist, and therefore creating pressure to that nerve center and the ligaments. I don’t know why they chose this material, it’s too firm. Also, I think a better design would be a little tab from the center of it sticking out and then attaching to the bottom of the mouse so that both mouse and the wrist “support” worked as one unit when moving the mouse around. I often found that I didn’t drag the wrist piece with my mouse well and that it caused even more issues. If it were comfortable I would have made a little tab myself and connected the mouse and the wrist rest together, but as it’s extremely not even remotely comfortable I’m not bothering and I’ve already started the return process.
