A.B.S. is duidelijk trager dan onze huidige Anti-Spin rubbers Gorilla en Grizzly en biedt veel betere controle. Bovendien produceert A.B.S. een zeer goede spinomkering voor een zeer effectief blokkadespel dicht bij de tafel. Tegelijkertijd biedt A.B.S. goede aanvalsmogelijkheden door agressief duwen en tillen, vooral bij gehakte ballen. A.B.S. en Anti Special worden geleverd met een nieuwe rubbersamenstelling voor de bovenlaag en een nieuw type spons. Hierdoor komen de rubbers zeer dicht in de buurt van onze oude frictieloze lange noppen. A.B.S. is ITTF-gehomologeerd sinds eind 2008 en is nu verkrijgbaar met de volgende sponsdiktes: 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 1.8mm. De versie met 1.2mm spons is het traagst en daardoor het meest effectief voor kort blokkeren dicht bij de tafel. De versie met 1.5mm spons is iets sneller en daardoor iets effectiever voor aanvallen. De 1.8mm versie maakt zowel goed blokkeren als vooral aanvallen mogelijk.

Great Glow and Scent, But Fades Quickly and Runs Out Fast

The Saltair Shimmering Body Oil in Salt Water Vanilla is a beautiful product. The only 3 reasons I don’t give it 5 stars are because: 1. The shimmer is not very long-lasting. When I apply it before bed, most of the shimmer effect is completely gone and absorbed by my sheets by the morning. I assume pants and leggings would absorb it in the same way, but I’ve only ever worn shorts after applications during the day, and even then, the shimmer seems to fade after 4–6 hours. 2. I have to apply a lot of oil to achieve the amount of shimmer I desire. It averages about 20–25 pumps per use. 3. The 4-ounce bottle size, combined with needing a lot of product for each application, means I’m going to run out of it pretty quickly. Here’s why I like this product: 1. The glow: If you’re looking for a subtle glow and a light shimmer effect, this oil is perfect for you; apply it before a night out, while wearing a swimsuit, or when going to the gym in your favorite workout set for a beautiful gleam. 2. The scent: It’s a divine, warm mix of sweet and spicy notes. It smells like vanilla, amber, and toasted marshmallow. It pairs really nicely with tropical, woodsy, sweet, or spicy perfumes—it’s very versatile. 3. Consistency and absorption: The oil absorbs nicely and has a light, runny consistency. Because it’s a dry oil, it isn’t too thick, nor does it leave a sticky feeling on the skin. 4. How my skin feels: I’ve used this oil 4 nights in a row, and every single morning I wake up, my skin feels so soft and smooth, with no residual stickiness or residue left behind.
