Bewaarvoorschrift
Een enkele studie maakt melding van remming van de thyroxinesynthese door isoflavonen. Het betreft een experiment bij proefdieren en het is de vraag of dit remmende effect op de schildklier ook bij de mens optreedt. Bij suppletie van isoflavonen bij mensen met een traag werkende schildklier is het raadzaam wel rekening te houden met deze mogelijkheid.
