  • Wijnbereiding: Prachtige wijn, een exclusieve 100% Viognier uit Piëmonte; een wijn voor échte liefhebbers. De wijn wordt traditioneel vergist en krijgt na flesrijping nog eens 7 maanden rijping op eikenhouten vaten.
    Verhaal achter het etiket: Het etiket draagt een afbeelding van een lokale vogel uit de regio, die Abbona vaak rondom de wijngaarden opmerkt. Alle vogeltjes op de etiketten van Abbona komen uit de Langhe regio. De kunstenaar, goed bevriend met de familie, is verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerp.
  • Witte wijn - Rijp, rond en kruidig. Aromatische wijn met een stevige, sappige smaak. Accent op exotisch fruit en een vleugje anijs (typerend voor regio Roero/Piëmonte). Romige, fluwelige smaakstructuur en zacht mondgevoel.
  • Onze sommeliers adviseren:

    Goed te combineren met rauwe vis gerechten met soja of wasabi, en gebakken/geroosterde schaal en schelpdieren. Visgerechten met zuurkool en roomsauzen of pikante en kruidige elementen. Rauw vlees of gevogelte met patéen gebakken ganzen en eendenlever smaakt ook erg goed bij deze wijn. Net zoals winterse crème soepen en gebakken en ovengegaarde groenten of zacht gegaard spek en roodbacteriekazen.
