Met de Oldtimers blikken we terug op de beginperiode van de Jan van Haasteren legpuzzels. Een klein beetje nostalgie en vooral een ode aan het geweldige vakmanschap van Jan van Haasteren. In de plaat "Karren maar!" loopt de productie van vorkheftrucks volledig uit de hand.....

De eerste grote kijkplaat van Jan van Haasteren dateert al van 1975. De ’Shooting Pool’ tekening zorgde voor een grote vraag naar dit soort reclameposters. De posters waren erg populair en in 1980 besloot Jumbo er één als legpuzzel uit te geven.
