Georg wordt ingedeeld als matroos bij de marinesanittsschule waar hij zijn basisopleiding krijgt tot sanitter. Hij dient bij de 5 torpedobootsflottille op torpedoboot T 16 en hij wordt ingezet bij de 3 torpedobootsflottille op torpedoboot T 14. Hij zet tussendoor zijn opleiding voort in onder andere Sanittsschule S Heerenberg te Nederland en marinelazarett Sanderbusch. Vanaf 1944
Soldbuch Georg Kratzer, geboren 19-05-1922 en wonende te Ingolstadt. Georg wordt ingedeeld als matroos bij de marinesanitätsschule waar hij zijn basisopleiding krijgt tot sanitäter. Hij dient bij de 5-torpedobootsflottille op torpedoboot T-16 en hij wordt ingezet bij de 3-torpedobootsflottille op torpedoboot T-14. Hij zet tussendoor zijn opleiding voort in onder andere Sanitätsschule S-Heerenberg te Nederland en marinelazarett Sanderbusch. Vanaf 1944 dient hij bij: 1. unterseebootsausbildungsabteilung en bij 2.unterseebootslehrdivision. Vanaf 21-02-1945 wordt hij ingedeeld bij 2 baulehrkompanie-8 kriegsschiffbaulehrabteilung Hamburg op Lazarettschiff Monte Olivia tot 03-04-1945, vervolgens dient hij bij de 14-U flottile te Narvik. Georg wordt diverse malen bevorderd en onderscheiden met: EK2, Verwundeten abzeichen schwarz en het zerstörerkriegsabzeichen.
Na overgave komt Georg waarschijnlijk in krijgsgevangenschap terecht te zien aan een losse pagina die in het boekje ligt.
