Ayls was de eerste bodega in Aragon die deze eer te beurt viel en is nog altijd een van de slechts twintig Pagos in heel Spanje.

Alle druiven komen derhalve van de eigen wijngaarden, met volledige controle over kwaliteit, van bodem tot aan botteling.

Ayles heeft een bijzonder microklimaat. Tijdens het groeiseizoen kan het temperatuurverschil tussen dag en nacht meer dan 20 graden bedragen. Hierdoor behouden de druiven hun frisheid, maar ontwikkelen ook veel structuur. De lokale Huerva rivier zorgt voor een matiging in het lokale klimaat en heeft veel invloed op de nabijgelegen wijngaarden.

Patria Chica betekent letterlijk zoveel als "klein thuisland". Het bijzonder fleslabel is onmiskenbaar gestoeld op een bankbiljet en staat symbool voor de rijkdom en welvaart van het lokale land.

Rijke en complexe wijn uit het Spaanse Ayles in de regio Aragon. Deze blend van 60% Tempranillo, 26% Garnacha, 12% Merlot 2% Cabernet Sauvignon heeft een aantal maanden op eikenhout gerijpt. Deze Pago is een fantastisch glas voor z'n geld. Value for money!
